Strategic Communication

Biography

Frances Anderson is a recent Cum Laude graduate at Butler University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Arts Administration with High Distinction. She also hold minors in Art History and Strategic Communication: PR and Advertising. She recently finished her internship with GANGGANG, a cultural advocacy agency in Indianapolis, Indiana where she has gained valuable experience in Arts Administration and Strategic Communications for their annual Fine Art Fair, BUTTER. She has worked on digital designs, strategic messaging on collaborations and research-based projects targeted toward community engagement. She plans to use her strong writing skills and creative design ideas to help non-profit organizations tell their stories and grow their vision.

 

This past summer, Frances worked closely alongside the BUTTER Fine Art Fair serving as an essential resource for the team. Her accomplishments during the fair season included:
 

Engaging in discussions with potential sponsors, presenting partnership opportunities and securing support.

Facilitating local and national media coverage, securing notable features in ARTNews, The Art Newspaper, and Canvas Rebel, and helping to generate 60 articles and television segments about the fair, thereby increasing visibility and attracting diverse audiences.

Coordinating over 43 panelists and stage hosts for the BUTTER Fine Art Fair's conversation stage by developing a comprehensive guide and effectively managing the stage manager throughout the event.

 

She plans to apply her skills and experience towards the advancement of arts and culture in America. ​
